Christmas on the River 2008

COTR was so great this year. Aunt Diane came into town on Friday night. We started Saturday morning off with Daddy running in the Jingle Bell race. He did so good. He improved his time 9 minutes from last year. Wow! Jed, Bethany, and Paul ran too. They all placed in their age group.

The Telehany's came to visit us. We miss them so much. Here I am with Grace.
Getting ready for the parade at the Atkin's home.

Brandon Smith threw me this yellow thing during the parade. I loved it. I would not take it off.

The Telehanys and the DeZelles came over to watch the SEC championship game. We ate chili, cornbread, and cookies. After the game we went to the firework show. I loved it. I kept saying "Whoa" "Wow".

Caught you!!

Grey's Birthday Part 2

Grey's party was on the Saturday before his birthday. On his birthday, we went to Meridian for the day. We ate lunch at Crackle barrel, went to see the horses, got attacked by the bees, played at the mall playground, and went to a movie. It was a great day. Love you Grey!

Granny Miller's Family Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving lunch at Uncle Alan's camphouse. Here I am coming up the hill from the pond.

Aunt Savy teaching me how to text.

Daddy let me try my first taste of granny's charolette (sp?). I was not crazy about it.

Playing Possum

Quick note from Mom. Yesterday Mary Ella and I had been running errands for a while. We were on our way home and it was close to lunch and nap time. Mary Ella has a tendancy to fall asleep in the car around this time if I let her so I was being loud and saying "Mary Ella do not go to sleep. We are almost home." I looked back at her and she was closing her eyes as tight as she could. She was pretending to be asleep. I guess she thought I could only see her eyes and not the HUGE smile she had on her face. It was so cute!!! I could not believe that she knew what I was saying. Then I started thinking, what else have I said that she understood. Anyway, I thought that was really cute so I wanted to share with the blogger friends. Happy Thanksgiving!

Elrod Thanksgiving

We hosted the Elrod family Thanksgiving at our house on Sunday. We had a house full, 23 in all. Here I am playing outside before everyone arrived.
